Summary: She has spent most of her career in hospitality.  She has been a catering manager for the Hyatt Regency-Phoenix and an account representative with Merestone (where she planned meetings and events for Fortune 500 companies).  She is currently with Affinity Group Tours, and has her own consulting business, Triage Meetings and Events.  She has been an adjunct professor at Scottsdale Community College for over 7 years.

 

Lynne has over 30 years in the industry in a variety of positions.  She is a member of the Arizona Sunbelt Chapter of MPI  (AZMPI) and Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International Arizona Chapter (HSMAI).  In 2010, she won the bronze Azbee Award from the American Society of Business Publication Editors for her article “How-To Stop the Creep”.  In 2009, Lynne won AZMPI’s Mentor of the Year award, and in 2012, she won her chapter’s award for lifetime achievement.  Lynne’s true passion is mentoring and coaching people in the event industry.
