  John Hogan CHA CMHS CHE CHO PhD                      

 CEO and Co-Founder of HospitalityEducators.com, Principal of Hogan Hospitality

 Education:  PhD in International Business, MBA, BS Hotel Administration, Industry certifications

 Tenure in Industry:  35+ years

 Summary:  John is a career hotelier and educator.  He has been affiliated in management roles with Sheraton, Hilton, Dunfey (now Omni), Best Western, Park Suite (now Embassy Suites) and independent properties. He has taught as an adjunct professor for more than 20 years at three different colleges and has conducted an estimated 3,700 classes and workshops in his career.   

 
 He is the co-founder and CEO of HospitalityEducators.com and the principal of Hogan Hospitality, which provides litigation support, expert witness services and hotel consulting.   He has written more than 400 articles and 200 blogs for industry publications and has been recognized with awards of excellence from the American Hotel & Lodging Association and international hotel brands.  

 
 Service to the Industry and Hospitality Education includes working with the Educational Institute Certification Commission of the AH&LA, the Hospitality Industry Diversity Institute, the AH&LA Multicultural Advisory Council, the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration, the Commission for Accreditation on Hospitality Management Programs, the AAHOA and AH&LA Education and Training Committees, the Council of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Educators (CHRIE), the International Hotel Show and the Certified Hotel Owner (CHO) program for the Asian American Hotel Owners’ Association.
